One of the works that could be emblematic of this revolutionary government is the operation of the highway east, section Unare - Píritu. However, it is being eroded this ability to see who is partially paralyzed at various points in its tracks.
In a tour made by the team of the newspaper El Nuevo Día from Píritu to Pachaquito, few people could see workers on the road. Only observed looking trucks and heavy equipment and expanding a landfill in the field, while in other sections it has lost some work because it is covered with weeds and eroded. It was learned unofficially and some workers who are paralyzed for lack of payment to contractors who are doing this work. Since the governor was the beginning of the four sections of the motorway from the east have already spent 19 months, despite the governor Saab once remarked that in 18 months would be inaugurating these sections would help shorten the time between Caracas and east. With the observations during the tour could be much longer than expected, considering that the asphalt is not manufactured or too low, workers are unhappy because they are not being canceled required for a work of such a great extent. Also it was observed that the drains are not fully in place to level, as well as the shuttering of them are covered by weeds. Given this situation will be difficult for the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, José Luis Martínez opens the stretch of highway.
