Introduction Task Process

  • The first product to be obtained at the end of this webquest is an essay arguing or against any thoughts of "The Picture of Dorian Gray" on Dorian to talk about any topic concerning their role in the book (such as narcissism, ethics, moral conception of beauty, among others), which student will find on the Internet or other means.
  • The second task that the student will perform an analysis on the thinking of Lord Henry Wotton and how it is related to hedonism in the story.
  • On the other hand, the student will write a review based on the relationships or differences you find between the life of Dorian and his own life, and arguing why these similarities or differences, in your opinion are good or bad.
  • Finally, and to enhance their knowledge about the book, the student will answer a 10 question test ICFES type made by Alejandro Palacio and myself, focused on the first six chapters, which were part of a of the work we did in relation to the book.

The Picture of Dorian Gray is a novel written by Irish author Oscar Wilde. This classic novel it deals with eternal youth and the main character has a great admiration for himself and a desire to stay young and beautiful forever. During the third academic year we have read the book mentioned above and have done some work for the application, which will serve to strengthen and deepen the knowledge gained during your reading.
